چکیده

Aims: We provide new insights into the gamma-ray emission from HESS J1912+101, a TeV supernova remnant candidate probably associated with radio pulsar PSR J1913+1011. Methods: obtained observations at 1.5 GHz using VLA in D configuration, purpose of detecting shell putative remnant. In addition, we observed single pointing 6.0 toward J1913+1011 to look for wind nebula. also studied properties surrounding interstellar medium data 13CO, HI, and infrared emissions, public surveys. Results: did not find evidence down sensitivity image GHz. detect faint diffuse around GHz, which could represent nebula powered by pulsar. dense ambient gas 60 km/s, shows good spatial correspondence only western eastern directions. There is near center where weak. Using data, identify an active star-forming region part shell. Conclusions: Based on poor match between (which correlation directions anticorrelation other directions), conclude that hadronic mechanism alone does give satisfactory explanation gamma rays J1912+101. Additional contributions may come leptonic processes remnant, together J1913$+$1011 its and/or region. A confident determination distance necessary determine whether these sources are or just appear superimposed line sight.

A multi-frequency radio study of the supernova remnant HB9

We present a new radio map of HB9 at 232 MHz made at the Beijing Astronomical Observatory. We also present previously unpublished maps at 151 MHz, from the new Cambridge Low-Frequency Synthesis Telescope Survey, and at 4750 MHz, from the Effelsberg Telescope. These radio maps are compared with previously published maps at 408, 1420, and 2695 MHz, thus providing the most complete frequency cover...

The Expansion of G11.2−0.3, a Radio Composite Supernova Remnant

We compare recent observations of the supernova remnant G11.2−0.3 taken with the VLA during 2001−02 with images from VLA archives (1984−85) to detect and measure the amount of expansion that has occurred during 17 years. The bright, circular outer shell shows a mean expansion of (0.71± 0.15)% and (0.50±0.17)%, from 20and 6-cm data, respectively, which corresponds to a rate of 0. 057±0. 012/yr a...

A High-resolution Radio Survey of the Vela Supernova Remnant

This paper presents a high-resolution radio continuum (843 MHz) survey of the Vela supernova remnant. The contrast between the structures in the central pulsar-powered nebula of the remnant and the synchrotron radiation shell allows the remnant to be identified morphologically as a member of the composite class. The data are the first of a composite remnant at spatial scales comparable with tho...

A Radio Supernova Remnant Associated with the Young Pulsar

We report on Australia Telescope Compact Array observations in the direction of the young high magneticfield pulsar J1119–6127. In the resulting images we identify a non-thermal radio shell of diameter 15, which we classify as a previously uncatalogued young supernova remnant, G292.2–0.5. This supernova remnant is positionally coincident with PSR J1119–6127, and we conclude that the two objects...

A Peculiar Linear Radio Feature In The Supernova Remnant N206

We present images of the supernova remnant N206 in the LMC, taken with ATCA at wavelengths of 3 and 6 cm. Based on our data and previously published flux densities, the spectral index of N206 is −0.20 ± 0.07. The 6-cm radio morphology shows a filled center. Most interesting is the discovery of a peculiar linear feature previously undetected at any wavelength. The feature lies to the east of the...
